Quarians are space Einsteins when it comes to tech and have been for over 2000 years before humanity even made it to the scene, but it never occured to them to trap heat waves? I unironically think it would've been a fucking great thing if Tali stole it and you can confront her over it, but there is absolutely nothing indicating this in the game other than flavor text that doesn't even say anything specific. The only bad part of the writing is that anons saw quarians having stealth tech and then instantly assumed ITS TALI without putting it any further thought into it, simply because the thought entertains them. It's the same thing as that theory of Asari being shapeshifter because of that bachelor party, it's an interesting thought in theory but falls apart under scrutiny.Īnonymous 06/16/22(Thu)20:05:10 No. This isn't even getting into how the idea of tech theft falls apart too when looking at the bigger picture of ME species lore-wise, and the nature of secrets. Especially seeing as the character in question would rather kill herself like a little bitch than stop Shepard from genociding her race.

Seeing as ME3 has absolutely no interest in exploring any Tali betrayal in a game that's very adamant about exploring personal betrayals, it's natural to assume it did not happen. A gigantic betrayal by Tali would monumentally shift character dynamics, it makes no sense for a game to supposedly tease it then but then completely ignore it.

Even with squadmates, Legion is confronted for lying too even though it was for the survival of his race. The game is extremely persistent in holding characters/races accountable for stealing/withholding information. It makes little sense considering ME3's philosophy of dealing with plot and characters.
